Checklist of Gruiform birds (Order Gruiformes) in Iraq

A total of six genus and eight species that belong to three family Gruidae, Otidae Rallidae, Order Gruiforms; about 39specimens which are deposited in the birds collection Iraq Natural History Research Center Museum INHM were reviewed. In current study, morphometrics seven taxidermy Gruiform birds: Common CraneGrus grus (Linnaeus, 1758), Houbara BustardChlamydotis undulata (Jacquin, 1784), Water Rail Rallus aquaticus Spotted Crake Porzana porzana 1766), Little parva (Scopoli, 1769), Coot Fulica atra Moorhens Gallinula chloropus 1758) Purpul GallinulePorphyrio poliocephalus (Latham, 1801) documented. addition distribution ranges throughout Global Conservation Status each mentioned reviewed comprehensively discussed.
